Introducing the Sun Building Project: a dynamic transformation that redefines the iconic space in the heart of the town centre. We worked with Nick to help revitalise the Sun Building into a vibrant new home for Attwells and its 40 staff members at the time.

Throughout floors 1-4, our comprehensive refurbishment plan includes block repairs, fresh coats of paint and carpets. Enhancing comfort and energy efficiency by adding secondary glazing to courtyard windows and updating window treatments. Electrical and mechanical systems were modernised, with upgrades to light fixtures and the installation of water heaters in the kitchens.

The main focus of the project lies on the ground floor, where we created a welcoming reception area with three meeting rooms and a library space. Drawing inspiration from Attwells' branding, we explored many different designs aligning colour and furniture with movement throughout the space.

The Sun Building Project aimed to revive a cherished historic landmark in the town centre, providing Attwells with a community orientated hub. Operating with an economical budget the project remained steadfast in its commitment to breathe new life into the structure, showcasing Attwells' dedication to both heritage preservation and community involvement.
